HaloSauna with Red Light at Qwellè Balance Studio
_edited_edited.jpg)

Our HaloSauna booth is located in a private room with a locking door where you will be able to change and store your belongings securely. Options for a session in the HaloSauna include one, two or all three of the following:

-
Halotherapy (dry salt therapy). Micro-sized salt particles are dispersed into the Halotherapy booth using a halogenerator. These salt particles create an antibacterial environment, draw out excess moisture, the mucus and impurities that are in the airways and on the skin. Consistency and frequency are key as halotherapy offers the best results when practiced regularly. Its benefits are cumulative. If combined with infrared, the infrared heat also helps with detoxification and relaxation.
-
Infrared sauna therapy. The infrared technology penetrates the body heating the tissues in the room before heating the surrounding air. This means that in an infrared sauna 80% of the radiant heat is penetrated or absorbed by the body, with only 20 % lost to heating the air within the booth. This allows for great therapeutic benefit at lower temperatures and shorter session times.
-
Red light therapy. Red and near-infrared light are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and more specifically, part of the spectrum of light emitted by the sun. These wavelengths of light are “bioactive” in humans.

Red light between 600-700nm offers benefits for skin texture and tone, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, promoting collagen production and generally rejuvenating the appearance of skin and hair.
-
Near-infrared light (NIR) 700nm – 1100nm penetrates deeper into the tissues to assist with wound healing, muscle recovery, nerve injury, and joint pain.
